We are currently working on understanding chemical formulas. In the the next class we will work on balancing equations. We will also do a project where students will spend time getting further use to the Periodic Table.

We have been doing a lot of work in recent days on becoming familiar with the Periodic Table and naming chemical elements and compounds. Students have completed an assignment in the Library where they did some research on a chemical element. They have also been given notes on how to name chemical compounds and molecules. Will have work to complete in the next couple of classes to further develop their understanding of the concepts.
